Watching that brings me in mind athe film clip. Frustratingly I can't remember the film, but I hope someone will help me out - I think it might be a Clint Eastwood clip as Philo Beddoe (the 'Every Which Way' series), in which he's confronted and challenged by a neanderthal throwback individual. Before starting the fight he asks about the rules, with the response there are no rules. At which point he kicks him hard where blokes REALLY don't like being kicked, with the predictable result. (A similar version occurs in an Indiana Jones movie, but I think the protagonist gets shot in that one. But I digress). Anyhow the point is, that all the pussyfooting around and showboating is fine for television, but the point of football is to get the ball into the net. I acknowledge that in a professional footballer a certain level of ball skill is necessary, but I would suggest that accuracy and weight of pass, timing of tackle and shooting skill is much more appropriate. Off sport, but check these out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6o7G4gPB8M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZx7dxz2CUU THAT'S skill.
