    THIS^^^^

He has a great shot and will score some great goals - but he couldn't pass to my 20 stone ex wife in a narrow corridor...

What struck me was the fee, under 2 mil, I'm sure when we wanted him it was around 5 mil

He wouldnt get into our team so i dont think he would make us stronger, maybe only if he was replacing Gardener.

You have to look at who he would replace in our midfield (no one) with that in mind he would only be a bench warmer alongside people like Myler/Coleback/Vaguhan all who are better.

Said at the time, he is pants.

Interestingly, Everton were linked with Piennar as well but they don't have any money.

Might this strengthen our hand for Piennar, if we are actually interested?

The way MON seems to have transformed our players, I reckon if he put me and Syd in central defence we would end up as world beaters....

We don't need Gibson as he wouldn't strengthen us IMO. We should only be looking to sign much better players than we have. Not the same level. Our team is at a stage where we should be looking to bring in 1 or 2 quality signings. We can improve on every player, who can't however we do not want another 10 changes in the summer. For me it was Bruce's biggest downfall, perhaps the owners fault to, that there seemed to be no reasoning behind our tranfer policy this summer which wasn't help by the amount of loan players the season before.

  19. Agree totally and you watch, game time at Everton, a bit of success on the field and everybody will be after him..

Seems the trend now with the EPL, there are good scraps to be had and a good & interested manager can make it happen for any fringe player at another club..
