But not to us....... Chelsea have been linked with a summer swoop for Sunderland outcast Emanuele Giaccherini - IF Antonio Conte takes charge at Stamford Bridge. Italy coach Conte is expected to be named the new Chelsea boss in the summer and sources in Italy claim he wants to make winger Giaccherini one of his first signings. Giaccherini is currently on a season-long loan deal with Serie A club Bologna, having failed to make a significant impact at the Stadium of Light in the last two years. Unfortunately, due to Marc Bosman, we won;t get any as he's oput of contract in the summer! Major pity this - injuries were the main reason he didn't make it here - he's a quality player who couldn't stay fit! Now he is fit and scoring and making goals. Would've loved to see him play more for us But I agree with Brian - I don;t reckon there's any way he's Chelsea bound!!
Yeah absolutely - has the right attributes but isn't at that level (IMO anyhow) I may be wrong though!!
Too good for us, got stuck tracking back involved in a game he wasn't suited for because he had no supply. Nothing to run on to off Cattermole and Colback. Shame.
