I see Fulham have had a 10m double bid accepted for exciting Herenveen wingers Oussama Assaidi and Luciano Narsingh. Along with Dempsey, Ruiz and Pogrebnyak if he stays Fulham are looking like they will have an exciting squad next year and under a fantastic manager in Martin Jol looking to kick on. Coming to us, Fulham along with a number of sides will be competing with us to try and get that into that top 8. For me we need to go out and get our business done as soon as we can and bring in some exciting, pacey players and a couple of out and out goalscorers. Cannot afford to drag our transfer business out over the full transfer window.
Agreed To the Op - I think you'll find some are off contract & hence the quick move for replacements. Arsenal indicated a number of weeks ago that they wanted Dempsey BTW.
