Plus the ffp has been relaxed a bit, ME will look at keeping him as an investment. With mick in charge, we can sleep easy!
I seriously am at a loss as to why some people rate Mings quite so highly!? Sure, he has potential but anything over £ 4 mill would be crazy money from my perspective. He's so naive and at times gets caught out all over the shop.
got to agree with WCP, we haven't missed cressy one bit, which is a huge shock to me. Fair play to mick and tyrone for what they have done.
For the right price I'd happily see Mings sold. Southampton continually sell their best young players and look where it's taken them. We have Parr and young Clarke to fill the void. Has to be a decent amount of dosh though.
Everyone has their price but I think we will keep hold of Mings for the rest of this season, Mick loves him and he is starting every game he won't get that anywhere else currently.....imo
Sorry I didn't really think that Mings would fancy a step down in class/style/ambition so didn't give them a thought.
They have a squad littered with international players, with vast Premier league experience that would all walk straight into most Premier league sides... or something along those lines anyway.
...and with fairer refs,fewer injuries and a tad more luck in front of goal last season they could playing in Europe!
