After seeing Dave Jones miserable face on tv yesterday a daft question popped into my head. With both teams in action midweek, should Gerrard or Olofinjana become unavailable for the weekend (through injury/suspension) do you think the affected club would deny the other the services of their loanee? Hopefully won't occur but just wondering.

I don't think they can, the agreement is that both players are free to face each other, that wouldn't be affected by one of them being injured.

I couldn't remember if the agreement earlier in the season covered both fixtures. Hard to imagine one club being that tight fisted, must just be my devious mind.

Yeah i would imagine its pre agreed, I mean say Olifanjana had been playing badly for Cardiff and Jones didn't pick him, it would be unfair for us not to play Gerrard as its unconnected. An injury is an unforseen event and thus should have no implication on a pre agreed deal.
