A great game of football by two evenly matched sides. Both had great chances through the game but it was a majestic finish to win a World Cup Final. I'm glad the best team in the tournament won and congratulations to James Rodriguez, the best player in the tournament, on winning the Golden Boot. Messi voted as best player was a Sepp Blatter political decision. (Wild speculation on my part, but probably not far from the truth). What the **** am we going to do tomorrow

I'm not sure about that but he was a contender and it's about opinions, It was not my best WC tournament i have ever seen and not the worst either but now the poor people of Brazil will have to pay the price for a long time to come and sepp and his cronies can now concentrate on the next Mugs to rip millions off...

One of the best final games I ever saw. Counting CL finals too. Two teams that wanted to win, more than they were afraid to loose. I agree a very good tournament. I'm very happy Brazil didn't win, and that Europe finally won a world cup in south America...
Robben, Rodriguez, Mascherano take your pick. I like Messi but he didn't deserve the award and he probably knows it. Not sure about this 'European football on the up' comment either. Good teams and disappointing ones from both continents imo. Brasil were surprisingly poor from the beginning but Colombia were a revelation and Argentina did get to the Final. Yes the Germans deservedly won but France went out with a whimper as did the Dutch in the end. Italy were disappointing as were England. Belgium promised much but didn't deliver in the end. Europe edged it overall imo but the South Americans will be back.
Yes, **** enough to win the World Cup. What does that say about the other teams. Please keep taking your pills.
