Should not walk straight back into the team but i bet they bloody do, if so i think it will be poor management!!

We look far better without Skuse and i have no confidence in Gerken what so ever.

Looking at the likes of Forest, Watford and Wolves, i think the so called top teams are distinctly average, saying that i watched Derby today and thought they looked very good!!

This season looks like it really is a great opportunity, we are not that great but we have great team spirit and work ethic, which could carry us through!!

    I agree.
We just go about our business with minimal fuss and get the job done. It may not be pretty at times but there is more than one way to get out of this league, hard work and togetherness is one of them.

I like Gerken but agree not sure he should walk straight back in. Bialkowski has done pretty well and probably gained a lot of confidence.

Great hard fought win today! Very happy. And a big thank you to Stuart Pearce.

Just out of interest, anyone know if Brenner acknowledged his little gaffe? Must've been some banter, didn't hear anything.

The cynical dirty Watford players spent most of the game kicking lumps out of Joniesta.

Most exiting game of the season.Agree with JWM,Watford were the most cynical side I've seen at Portman Road for some time.Good to see us continue to play through rather than over the midfield and not a bad performance from any of the Town team.

I've always had concerns over Gerken. A competent keeper at this level but never going to considered as one of the best in the league.. same can probably be said for Bart as well to be fair.

Though this season Gerks had been putting in solid performances and impressing. The last few weeks he'd slipped back into being a little shaky so probably a good thing for the team long term to give Bart a chance and keeps them both very much on their toes

With Williams being out for a month now, I'd imagine Hyam/ Skuse and Bru will start away at Bournemouth for sure. Safer option than Bishop Bru with just Hyam holding but I could be wrong!

I honestly hope Skuse doesn't come back in, he changes the way we attack completely. Tabb was so effective in the last match as the sitter, Tabb and Bru deserve to keep their places with either Bishop or Hyam coming in, I'd rather Bishop as it gives us decent variation.

But I agree I can see Mick starting Skuse against Bournemouth as he'll want us to be solid first and foremost

Skuse needs Williams/McGoldrick as runners to function really.

Our ball retention is starting to become that little bit higher, so he SHOULD in theory at least make more of an impact.

We are very poor still at getting attacks going, and very very slow in possession at times. The ball needs to move that bit quicker if we are to continue in the top 6.

Skuse needs a bloody good rollocking he has the talent he just needs to show some balls and take games by the scruff of the neck rather than just ambling around passing sideways and backwards

    Yes and no.

The water carrying midfielder who keeps possession often doesn't get a lot of praise.

He doesn't give the ball away too often! It's a job that needs doing. That said, at times he could play a slightly more risky pass that isn't all out risky, but would help.

I know and I often appreciate ball carriers more than most, I rarely get frustrated by players who pass backwards or sideways if they just keep the ball but Skuse takes the piss. I'm not even saying he should play risky passes just show a bit more intent and up the tempo
