Mad. But exciting. Mercs car must be crap again. I just hope red bull fumble their car as well to make F1 interesting again
F1 is a funny sport. At its worst, as it has been for the past couple of seasons, it is incredibly dull, but when the championship is genuinely competitive it is just brilliant.
The NHL All-Star Weekend is happening. As is tradition with such things, they had to involve completely random celebrities in the whole thing in a vain attempt to attract the attention of non-hockey fans. In this case, crooner Michael Buble was one of two celebrities who picked the teams. Buble decided to liven things up by performing his duties while absolutely blitzed on mushrooms, a fact that he then proceeded to tell the gathered media. https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/nhl...-all-star-game-draft/8f19be9d90a99f7a63dfff98 I am very much in favour of this becoming a tradition. Just imagine how much more interesting the paddock interviews would be if both Martin Brundle and the people he was chatting up were off their heads on hallucinogens.
It's a nasty cut but surely you're not doing hard sparring two weeks out before the fight? You'd have to be very unlucky to suffer a cut like that with headgear on too.
Not a great start for England in Italy, 10 points down after 12 minutes and barely set foot in Italy’s half.
Italy have been defending very well, although they are giving away penalties. If the penalty count increases, Italy may find that their players get yellow cards. It's one of those games where England ought to win, because, well, we're England, but Italy are showing themselves to be no mugs. I'm predicting an England win, but I'm not 100% confident.
Ridiculous game going on in Cardiff. Wales were 27-0 down against Scotland, and have closed it down to 26-27 with 10 minutes left. The noise is incredible!
One of the all-time greats for Wales and the Lions, the imperious Barry John, has died at the age of 79. RIP
