I think seeing the game at this level and on tv, will encourage more and more girls to take it up - the more you can get playing it, the better the overall quality will become. Some teams have got a long way to go, but it's only by promoting it you will get more lasses involved - then it's down to schooling and coaches. Better than overweight kids sitting at home. At the moment some teams are so far ahead of the lessor quality ones and it's going to take years to improve that. It's like having to take the stigma out of it.
After the mini high of winning the U21 Euros it’s reassuring to see the wimmin team revert to the norm. Shouldn’t be too high a pile of washing to sort out now.
