Would love to see Maureen's face if Leicester grab one at the death. Going to have to do it quick if they are though.
Very ordinary performance by United. Usually, playing at home on the opening day against what is not a bad Leicester side, you want to put your best foot forward but I don't think United did that tonight.
Pretty boring game in the end. Probably the right result, purely due to tactics. Leicester without Mahrez look a bit toothless. Not sure about Fred. Seemed unsure of his role, did ok but looks like a walking red card. Most importantly the PL is back
I thought it was a decent game tbh, I quite enjoyed it. Didn’t understand Puel hooking Maddison so early as everything was going through him. Ieanacho looked every inch the 3 goal a season striker he was last time out, he’s as clumsy as ****. Gray did well. As for United, I thought they worked hard but didn’t create that much, the midfield looked better balanced with those 3 tonight. Bailly is class imo.
The ground Fred covered was incredible, he'll need to learn fast about the physical side of the PL but he looks a class act to me. Pereira is not the answer though, we need Matic back asap because Fred was doing two jobs out there tonight. Fairly weak game for entertainment in the end, but I'll take the 3 points and hopefully Shaw keeps them levels for the rest of the season.
