A sad day for English football when arguably its biggest and most famous club will put its name to a statement saying they've concluded he's innocent.
Greenwood has not played a single game for us, from the moment the story broke more than 19 months ago. United continued with their own investigation which they didn't need to following the charges against Greenwood being dropped, but the club persisted and have decided he had to go. But apparently it's still not good enough for some. I can't remember the last time someone on here gave a hoot about the supposed victim in all of this. A fraction of any sympathy for the girl, if anything she's been called all sorts in recent months. All of which has always led me to believe this really was a load of old virtue signalling bollox and as I can see from some of the posts today, an excuse for some to turn this into an attempt to slag off the club.
