I know AN sees them every day in training, etc, but how the hell, against a team like Watford:
Does Tettey get the nod over Mulumbu?
Does Dorrans get a start ahead of O'Neil??
And why Grabban against a pretty solid defensive unit as opposed to CJ or DM who are both better at hold up play???
These, and many other questions, will rumble on long into the night :(

Redmond finally gets a start, and only gives him 45.

The scariest thing for me, is Watford looked like a Solid Premiership team, like a Stoke or West Ham. Where as we looked like a team who scraped promotion, and obviously are just going to have one season in the sun and go straight back down. How many times have we said "we never looked like scoring or getting a shot on target, and at the back we were such a mess. They just look terrified and in a state of panic"

Yet, nothing changes. I don't know what they can be doing in training? Do we do training sessions? Or do they just work on passing sideways, then back?

Yes Cromer, a pretty woeful display and I HOPE we've seen the last of Grabban in Yellow and Green.
I thought O'Neill would have been a better bet than Dorrans and haven't seen enough of Mulumbu to make a comment.
My biggest concern yesterday was how our players were getting caught on the ball too frequently and often in dangerous positions. They should be made to watch several reruns of the game and see how effectively the Watford players harried and chased.

Possible clash of the titans later on when Sheff Weds (Hooper) face Derby (Martin)
Followed by Newcastle vs Liverpool - anyone feel a result similar to Chelsea v Bournemouth yesterday may well be on the cards? <yikes>

With the form Liverpool are in (assuming Sturridge is playing) I don't see it happening and will be distraught if it does.

    Wow, Hughton heroics or what!
Brighton were 0 - 2 down after five (5) minutes at home to relegation-zone Charlton yesterday.
Two goals in the last seven minutes ensured they ran out 3 - 2 winners and returned to the top of the pile. <applause>
A far cry from going an early goal down at his former club...Floodgates United <yikes>

A bit random and off topic, but just seen that Panorama tomorrow on BBC1 at 8.30 p.m. is all about Sepp Blatter, Qatar, FIFA and shenanigans <yikes>

So there you have it - our team is not the same as the one you beat comprehensively last season, new players, new coach - whereas perhaps you have not moved on. So perhaps "a team like Watford" should be "a team like Newcastle, Sunderland, Aston Villa, Swansea.....etc."

Everyone else can do it apart from us and Villa at the moment, and I still think Villa will get out of it.....Could be an embarrassing season.

Liverpool just had an equaliser dubiously ruled out for offside too.

Well who saw that result coming.....Not a good weekend again. Even Sunderland gave some fight again. Thankfully it came to nothing.

If we weren't in this league, it would be really entertaining. No one wants to win the title this season! Apart from Leicester! :emoticon-0140-rofl:

    Poor old Carlisle FC.
This was their Brunton Park ground a few hours ago - you can just see the crossbar at one end <yikes>

Saw the old Gay Meadow under water, it happened many a time. This was not a sexist comment though JK, it was Shrewsbury's ground! <laugh>

I wouldn't be quite so harsh on Grabban, Braveheart, but I definitely think Mbokani should start against Everton. I'd have gone for Mulumbu rather than Dorrans (both being left-sided players), as I think he's better at screening the defence as well as being able to move the ball forward and make probing passes or even score himself. O'Neil is more an option instead of Tettey, IMO. Watford's very effective pressing was the difference though and in spite of having 5 midfielders to their 4, we struggled to get the ball forward while they moved it with ease. Definitely agree about watching the reruns over and over! :emoticon-0148-yes:
