The Europa league is a complete farce of a competition only meriting some respect from teams now by offering a backdoor route into the champions league. Who ever thought that dumping the 3rd worst team from each group from the CL into it was a good idea needs shooting. The champions league being for the champions and upto 4 runnersup is bad enough, this is European comp farce of the highest order. Bah!
Having watched our demise from a solid boring 1-0 machine in October up until now ,I don't expect Norwich to score keep clean sheets or win anymore. Sell Klose and Maddisson in January to balance the books/accordingly cut our cloth and I would not be surprised if relegation to Lg1 will be achieved . No idea who we play this weekend but we will lose.
The whole post warrants a standing ovation (and will doubtless get one from Denmark!) but the signing off paragraph is very special-and shared by a vast number of canary fans, I'm sure. Well said, General
Delia and Michael could maybe consider this - you know, kind of easing out gradually through the side door into a position far more suitable to their footballing knowledge...and bank account! I'd get a season ticket...honest!!
Oh surely not another column lamenting the idiocy of signing has-beens and sick notes like Naismith & Jarvis (respectively) on big money terms and on stupidly long contracts? Surely not?? http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...5306763?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=dlvr.it
Guilty as charged, yer honour Yet when you think, of the last 8 years since our season in Lg 1 when Lambert arrived, we've spent 4 of those years in the Premier League. And through stupidity, poor recruitment and the board sanctioning yet more and more investment in poor recruitment, we're no better off today than Millwall or Burton, who have plodded a path between championship & League 1 all that time. That grates a tad.
F*ck sake Jack Wiltshire. Yes his arm was near your face for a split second. Are you now out for another 4 years? Just suck it up. Maybe you will have a career.
Did anyone listen to 'The Scrimmage' yesterday? Richard Balls called out Delia and the Board brilliantly and I found myself shouting "Yes, yes !" at the radio. While Goreham and Butler couldn't do the same for obvious reasons working for the BBC, they didn't even try to stop his rant about their incompetance and the 'staleness' of the Board, 'that' interview and the need for change
Interesting article from a guest writer on MFW. Not quite sure how much of it I agree with. http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...ng-but-lets-not-throw-the-towel-in-quite-yet/
Holy fire, this hits the nail on the head fair and square. Except KIO said it yesterday in far fewer words The. Club. Needs. Further. Investment. Very. Soon. https://stiffrecordsbook.wordpress....eded-or-city-could-follow-the-charlton-model/
So 16 teams left in the so called champions league...and five (5) of them are British! What a bloody charade Juventus v Spurs Basel v Man C Porto v L'pool Sevilla v ManU R Madrid v PSG Shakhtar v Roma Chelsea v Barca Bayern v Beşiktaş
