It's been the buzzword this season, we'll be ok when we gel. Don't make me laugh! This team is no better now than it was on day one. We still can't string three passes together, we were lucky today that Arsenal were so lacking in confidence and the only player who could walk off the pitch with his head held high was Julio Cesar who produced several world-class saves to keep us in the game.

I've been prepared to give MH the benefit of the doubt, till now. Today we were a team in the image of the manager, so clueless in possession that we were often giving the ball away in our own half under minimal pressure. If anyone can tell me what SWP contributes to our team, apart from running up blind alleys, passing to the opposition and hitting crosses to areas that no decent forward would inhabit, please enlighten me.

Last season Wigan lost 8 successive matches early in the season but were playing some decent football, you could see that they had the capability to mount a run to stay up, I don't see any hint of that with our team and even less tactical nous from a manager who with his 'not on my watch' comment last May has made a rod for his own back.

There doesn't appear to be a consistent shape to the side and the players look as if they have no confidence in the system they are playing, if there is one. Reading are playing with spirit and scoring goals, they've already done us once this season and I fear next week we could come unstuck and find ourselves cut adrift. Hopefully, TF will put MH out of his misery if we are still winless by next Sunday evening...

With talk of Mittal disinterest,I dont think he can aford to sack him!. If he does walk and I know hes not the best tactition, but I think Rednapp would be superb for our club and the position we are in.

If TF does sack him he'll be paid till his next job, not the whole contract, those deals don't happen anymore. But then again, who'd employ Hughes after this?...

You echo my thoughts exactly sooper! He got it so wrong again today....leaving out Faurlin for a game that was crying out for him and playing the dire SWP. He was actually booed by the Rangers fans when his name was called out!!

Agree wholeheartedly. Our attack is no better than on day one and no team can survive without scoring. Reading will come at us and if we don't have a red hot go at them, it'll be over by half time.
