We've signed Gavin Hoyte on a free transfer until January 18th. People on twitter seem pleased but considering he's a right back and we already have 2, wouldn't it have made more sense go sign a LB to challenge Martin instead?

Good signing personally I think he is a much better option than Fish, both a similar age but Hoyte has more to offer the starting line up. Feel this might be a bit like the deal we did for Martin when he arrived, 5 months to prove himself before we sit down and sort out a more permanent deal.

Pretty good signing. I did say a while ago he would be good and we have at last signed him. I like how he is versatile and he showed that tonight. He looked pretty decent tonight, good defending and got forward in the first half. I like the look of him and feel he is a good addition to the squad.

With the versatility Hoadie, is that right he played LB one half and RB other half?

It is great having someone that can do that. Is he two footed? (no jokes please... :) )

From what I was told Hause was the Left Back all game so didn't look like Hoyte played LB.

In relation to the comments on Hoyte playing LB/RB, in the first half he mainly played LB with the 3 CB's and fish on the right. In the second half he played RB, with originally Hause and then Dickenson playing LB.
