This rumour is picking up pace since being placed on the rumour mill yesterday evening from the Daily Mirror. I go to uni up in Leeds and Radio Leeds reported this morning that the deal is set to be completed. Although this link suggests otherwise: http://www.examiner.co.uk/huddersfi...95/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter I'm sure people who watched Huddersfield's games with as much interest as I did will know all about his left footed delivery. WOuld be a great buy but might suggest that Lee Holmes' time is up. Thoughts?
It certainly wa sabout Jason Roberts. Thought I'd give it a new thread bearing in mind what I've heard locally from a respected source. But thanks for the smart arse answer
I think we could do better than both Jason and Gary. Gary lacks experience essential to our progression in the Championship. And Jason, as experienced as he is, is old. Jason would be the better choice IMO but only for a season or two.
Robbie Robertson (guitarist with the Band)? He'll be a bit cheaper now he's shaken off the coke habit.
I have asked Rupert murdoch to approve the (allegedly) hacking into Nicolas mobile phone so that we can see exactly who is being tracked by the Saints. this was we might get the news before Sky!!
Gary Roberts has been quality for Huddersfield, and he may lack the pace that say, Chamberlain has, but so does Lallana. He would be a good squad player behind Lallana and Chamberlain.
I couldn't agree more if anything happened to Lallana. Roberts would be a great player to call on. He is a great crosser and corner taker. He did the same when Pilkington got injured. Though I think the next player will be Simon Cox. Fingers Crossed!!!
Agreed, cracking left foot would be a lovely option to have. The option of inswingers from the other side and first time crosses from the left in for Rickie and Barny is a great alternative to Lallana cutting in
