His name is "bouncing" around twitter and it seems that the majority of people wouldn't mind seeing him back at the gate. What do we think? Would you want him back at Ashton gate and do you think he could do the job a 2nd time around.

Me personally, I don't think it would be the worst appointment. If he is appointed tomorrow I wouldn't be pissed off about it, think he could do a job here the 2nd time around like he did at Yeovil. Saying that he isn't my first choice, not that I know who my first choice is at the moment.

Nah, we need to move on. Love him for what he did, but don't want him back.

Same with me, loved it when he was here, he's now gone, time to move on and save our club, so no to a 2nd time around..

Isn't he still the Manager of a team in the league above ours?

Sorry shiny but no to your thread. Never go back as it will come back to haunt you and why on earth would he choose to do it with the success he has had at Yeovil? How many of the "be careful what you wish for brigade" are licking their lips at yet another managerial departure?

I would love to see him back
However, I dont see it happening.

All I really want though is an end to this ridiculous merry-go-round of Bristol City managers, and a solid club with a solid manager who can take us forward (in whatever increments it takes).

Its a shame about O Driscoll. I know he was about a popular on here as a rattle snake in a lucky dip, but I thought we had turned the corner.
Its a bit like - its not the last cigarette that kills you but the first. He has paid the price for a year of disastrous results.
But I wonder if there actually is a manager out there who can turn this club around.
I am beginning to doubt it

Nope I'm going for Alex Ferguson he's not working now is he?

LJ would be a good shout next time, he needs to have time in his first role at Oldham to prove himself

He's loved at Yeovil more than here, he's a division above, money's tighter than before, and there's not a merry-go-round of players/managers. Why would he consider coming here?

Yeah I like this changing managers every year, gives us something to talk about.

He's going to make us great

He has to get rid of the previous managers ****

    You watch us go now

We will get a win soon

    Give him time

****inghell this is worse than the previous manager

And then it starts again we can put the next poll up
