    SFc fan in peace.

    I am not a WUM but is there any truth in the Hooper rumour to join us?

    On a few forums try say the fee has been agreed but nothings been said of down south.

    Anyone heard anything up north?

    Hooper stated he was happy at Celtic and not being funny why would he want to leave?

    I personally think it's typical red top speculation.

    Its not possible, Celtic can't afford to sell their best striker mid-season would cause outrage among the fans and we need to buy a striker not sell one. I think bigger clubs would be interested and could easily outbid you and would appeal to Hooper.

    We could be tens of millions if we wanted.

    We are backed by the wealthy Liebherr family.

    However we are run by a top businessman and won't be pushed over the edge <ok>

    If you are going to bid 8-10m then it's possible it could be true. The figures I'm hearing of 4.5m etc won't happen, we pay those types of fees ourselves and wouldn't be accepting them for our best players.

    Not exactly an in-depth piece of sporting journalism is it? Southampton need a striker, player used to play for manager, put two and two together.

    No clubs want to sell their best players mid-season. It's why the January transfer window is such a nonsense. The only way clubs are going to sell is if they are offered silly money.

    What do you know about our club , you can read it freely in the Celtic view , seem them in the papers going golfing holidays and I know Scott browns best pal , who is friendly with whole Celtic squad and he says they are best buddies
