Asked - still hoping to see you play for us soon, any idea when we will know? Reply - your guess is as good as mine..... His contract expired two days ago, I have would expected it to have been sorted by now.
It all seems a bit sad to me - Garcia worked pretty hard on the pitch. Surely he could have been allowed the dignity of knowing the Club's plans for him, whether he's in or out. It ain't too much to ask.
I'm sure it was announced after the injury there would be absolutely no consideration of a contract until he was back fit again but he would be allowed to use the clubs staff and facilities for his rehabilitation. Probably won't be decided until Christmas I'd imagine. A decent player (at Championship level) BUT maybe he should have signed back in Feb when the contract was put on the table.
Failing to sign the new contract in February will probably haunt him for long enough. However, the club were generous in offering Richard the facilities to help him recover from his injury. I personally doubt that he will be offered a new contract from Hull City but Richard has offers on the table here in Oz so will end his playing career in the Australian A-League where he always said he would.
He doesn't sound very happy: Tiggy - Doesn't sound good, can you say any more without getting into bother? Garcia - not really....
