People on here say that they complain A LOT on the forum because they care about the club. Why? Surely, if you think complaining about the team/club/manager will achieve anything, the targets need to be aware of it. Does anyone honestly think the team/club/manager come to not606 and read the latest rantings of the minority?

If you think your complaining will make a difference, get your arses down to the emirates and confront the people in person, preferably before or after a match, not during.

If you still think that complaining on a chat forum will bring about any changes then you are either deluded or just enjoy a good moan for moaning's sake. If the latter, as I suspect, then I have found a home for you...

No need to thank me and don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out :emoticon-0128-hi:

...and such discussions are legitimate. I am only pointing out the obvious in that you will achieve nothing positive for AFC by complaining on here and if you honestly intended to, you would be outside the club's offices now with your banners & placards. That you choose to continue posting here, where your complaints will remain impotent, merely highlights the fact that your claims to 'complain because you care' are rubbish. You complain only because you love being a miserable old git and want to make everyone else as miserable :p

Aaah, but we are here to discuss things, which we are. Your view is an over simplification of things, classing it as complaining. We are often stating what we see and discussing the issues within our club. Thats not complaining.

Who is to say armed with some enlightenment from this board a shareholder won't have something to say at the next AGM ?

  7. Nearly all PR departments use tools to scour the web for the opinion of the 'customers'.

Are you suggesting that posting 20 complaint threads on a forum is anywhere near as effective as direct action outside of the ground?

  9. No - I am just directly debunking your claim that views posted on the internet dont get seen by people.

My point, which you are purposely ignoring, is that such posts are useless when compared to direct protest at the club's offices. So, just how much do you care about the clubs fortunes - enough to get off your arse and make your first visit to the ground?

    Thought not :)

But surely the opposite must be true as well. If nobody (in your eyes. Forums are notorious for information gathering for companies) who can change anything can read their complaints, then why bother posting anything like 'well done lads' or 'Wenger must keep
    Vp', etc, etc.

You lot should stop this childish game of taking sides and just talk about the football. Yes, difference of opinion is healthy in a debate, crying that other people have a different opinion is just whining.

OK - so lets start a campaign of banners protesting outside the club !!!

AND similarly how do lots of sucking up to Wenger posts help?

The difference is that I don't make any claims to the effect that my posts will lift the team's spirits or improve their play. The chief moaner however, seems to think that his does make a difference. NEWSFLASH! It doesn't.

Bergkamp a Dutch Master - I haven't seen any 'sucking up to Wenger' posts, let alone anyone say that such would help the club.

You haven't seen any sucking up to Wenger posts? Really? Follow Piskie then.

Not to have a dig at Piskie, if you want the occasional massive knee-jerk overreaction then look no further than Jayram after a loss.

Both extremes are clearly evident on this board

With regards the 'sucking up to Wenger' posts, perhaps you would be kind enough to post a link next time you see one?

As for the other stuff - it's hard to miss as it infests so much of our board with it's repetition.
