A good result on the weekend to get us back to winning ways, but a tricky trip to Fulham up next.Fulham would've started the season with ambitions of making the playoffs at least, and are only 4 points adrift, but scoping out their forum, there is significant unrest amongst the supporters, with even some suggesting that failing to win either of the next two fixtures (the other being against Derby) should result in manager Slavisa Jokanovic being sacked(!).

The bookies favour a home win with odds at around evens, with a draw and City win similarly priced at nearly 3/1 each.

Losing Diedhiou for nearly 3 months is undoubtedly a blow, but hopefully Djuric can continue his good form. We've not yet seen an extended period of him fit and firing, but if he's able to stay clear of injury, he should be able to lead the line well and remind everyone why he's a Bosnia international.

I think we should be focusing on this fixture entirely, but with Cardiff up on the weekend and both Baker and Hegeler now unavailable, I would suggest that Magnusson making an appearance at centre back in either would be sensible, with Wright possibly sharing duties with Pisano at right back if required.

I think I'm once again hopping on the fence and suggesting a draw is the most likely outcome, but it's maybe a good time to be playing one of the more difficult fixtures on paper and a win would go a long way to ease the disappointment of collecting just one point from the Burton and Leeds games...

I'd be quite happy with a point at Fulham.

    Match facts
    • Fulham have lost their last three home matches against Bristol City in all competitions, including two last season (once in the Championship, once in the League Cup).
    • The Robins' league trip to Craven Cottage last season was their biggest away Championship win of the season: a 4-0 victory.
    • Fulham have won just one of their last eight league matches at Craven Cottage and are on a run of 16 matches without a home clean sheet in the Championship, last keeping one in a win back in January 2017 against Barnsley.
    • Bristol City are unbeaten in their last six Championship away matches, winning each their last two (W3 D3). The last time they won three consecutive away league matches came back in February 2016 (also a run of 3).
    • No Championship player has scored more goals direct from a free-kick than Fulham's Stefan Johansen (2 - also Preston's Josh Harrop).

A real rarity, a goal from Korey. Dare we believe that this could be a great season for us?

Well done City, I had this down as a possible loss. So 6 points from our two games away.
To the ones who wondered about how we would react to a defeat we’ve won 3 scoring 8 conceding 2 :)

Solid win and let's hope it continues. Is the Cardiff game on the telly?

No, it was supposed to be Friday night on Sky but the police didn’t allow it. So switched to Saturday at noon.

Brilliant result, shame about further injury to Pisano, I hope Baker is fit again soon.
Thought a draw would be a good result, so well done lads.
    Still 4th, heady days indeed.

A great result, and shows that we can adapt our approach specifically to the opposition. Hopefully we can keep it up on Saturday.

Did anyone else think the ref was a bit lenient towards us last night?

I was watching a rather fuzzy stream which didn't replay every incident so I might be wrong, but I thought Fulham had a pretty good shout for 2 penalties plus a few blatant fouls weren't given.
Not complaining - how many times has that happened to us? Just saying.......

I can't knock the players or management for another hard earned 3 points, well done to all.

A win against Cardiff on Saturday would cap a very good few weeks (Leeds result aside)
