The view from the home end.

Fulham had a poor first 15 minutes. That in and of itself wouldn't be the end of the world. Even though they gave up a goal, it wouldn't be an impossible task to recover from. They've had bad stretches in games before. Most teams will have a stretch of 10 to 15 minutes where they are thoroughly outplayed. However, once Marcus Bettinelli got sent off and conceded a penalty, the game was effectively over.

People will complain about the defense, but I'm not sure what lessons you can learn from this game. Sure they let in three after dropping down to 10 men, but what could your really expect? Especially with Gabor Kirlay in at keeper. Fulham need to improve the defense, getting Hoogland back will help; but they may need to enter the transfer market to improve at fullback.

This is a bad result to be sure, but it's probably best to forget it and move on to the next one.

TBF They kept going 2nd half and could have got one or two..

I wonder who we would take off if Gomes got sent off? - have to be Vydra wouldn't it as you'd want to keep Deeney on and the midfield trio.

Or Anya but his pace is vital.

even when I played school football, a keeper in the cold with joggers on meant goals. Nothing much changes there!

Despite a 0-5 win the camp does not appear happy.
Too many players are being named or at least linked to be causing trouble; this has been rumbling on since the last few months of last season.
In all the years supporting Watford I have never known of such unrest, always we have had a strong team work ethic. I find it very sad - whoever or whatever is the cause.

After yesterdays results, ours was even more necessary than I had realised. however, a good December would see us well placed to make the big squad count.
