Honestly, some of you lot are worse than the Sky Four clubs' posters.

DR posted a genuine compliment on your team, raised an old question on SWP (from before he played for you, i.e. before you cared) and balanced it out by complimenting him. You then centre on the slight negative in his post, and then get hoity-toity because he retaliates. I know we're rivals but can we at least act in some kind of civil, adult (those of us who are of age) manner. I had high hopes for this thread as Northolt's posts actually offered something of value.

But then, I fully expect that to fall on deaf ears.

If there's any club whose fans know about being 'hoity-toity' it's Fulham.

I think people are still a bit bitter about what happened the last time we played in the league at Craven Cottage. I'm a bit young to remember it too well myself but I'm greatly looking forward to putting Fulham firmly back in their place as West London's third club and wouldn't shed too many tears if they went back to the old days of 4000 crowds without a Hugo or Victor in sight in the lower leagues.

How can you have high hopes AND fully expect things to fall on deaf ears? You been at Hugh Grant's white talcum powder again, Bidley?

    Ease up lads!!!!!

Most of the Fulham fans I met (as I said on another post, I used to work at the C&B in Putney, which was pretty away friendly but a Fulham fans pub) are friendly and have had to put up with a fair amount of crap over the last 20 years or so - so they must be enjoying what's happened over the last 10 years as much as we're hoping to enjoy the next 10 years!

And I guessed that DR was an American fan - you can't watch a game over here without the word offense. Even baseball. (it gets a little monotonous when watching the soccer and hearing Warren Barton talking about offense, he does the analysis for Fox....)

As for SWP, I think it's been long enough since he was regularly in a team that no-one can judge his attitude. I hope so, anyway!

Looking forward to the game. I love the fact that the only game I've had to watch on the internet so far was the Wigan match (I think Fox knew I was new out here and wanted to keep me happy) And I recon Fulham will keep their run of draw's going - I'm putting us down for 1-1 in the prediction league. Although depending on what side Jol puts out tonight we might nick it if there are a few tired legs running around.

Actually, thinking about it, just hearing Warren Barton commentate get's pretty monotonous.

OK, sorry Fulham fans. Don't take offense (sic). BTW the white round thing is the ball.

Read the post again. HAD. That's PAST tense. If you're going to try and be pedantic to avoid addressing my point, get it right.

As for the rest of you, with the exception of The other R, thanks for proving my point.

It's all a bit of banter Bidley, try not to be so thin skinned and just roll with it mate. Personally I've got nothing whatsoever against Fulham or Fulham fans, and I think most Rs fans are the same. I love Craven Cottage, it's a proper old fashioned football ground, and in fact I used to go to school right near it... Wasn't easy being a lone ranger in a sea of Chelsea and Fulham fans I can tell you! I have to say even back then, right next to the ground was about 80% Chelsea, 20% Fulham, and 1% (me) QPR, but I also remember that all the nasty little skinhead bullies were exclusively Chelsea, and even then they judged you on how many designer labels you wore. Nothing changes! Anyway, looking forward to the match, should be a cracker. <cracker>

Yup, all the signs of psychosis - anxiety, guilt, irritability, a feeling of worthlessness. Keep your nose clean, Bidley

Brilliant. You know you're wrong, so you throw a few ham-fisted personal insults :)

Fair play Taarabt, I can take banter when it's exchanged without the ridiculous hostility your lot are showing - you'll understand that I'm obliged to return the favour :)

I'm looking forward to the match myself, it should be a good one (if we find our shooting boots!).

Anyway lads, you'll have to entertain yourselves for a little while - I'm off to watch my team play some European football. Remember the time your Tesco Value shower did that? No, neither can I <laugh>

Tarabtt - 80% Chelski, 20 % Fulham, 1% QPR....how well did you do at maths? haha

Lets hope for a good QPR performance - I can see this being a 1 all or 2-1 win....hopefully to the superhoops.
Two teams that have players that will keep the ball on the deck, should be a good game

Well, you are not quite Lovely_Geezer just yet, but that's a promising start towards some banter - Bidders. BTW how did your old school chum enjoy his day at Loftus Road on Sunday?
