Gave it a go later on but with Collins up front, no chance. Like playing a false no. 9 who thinks he's a no. 9. Tuesday much more important. Bury the snow queen's.
Great endeavour but lacked quality. How many crosses didn’t make it into the box? City improved once Vaulks went off. Why did Collins start and finish the game? Deserved a point. At least. The ref was terrible - again. Fulham cheated the whole game.
Can only imagine he played to rest Hughill but why not start the Boro loanee? Surely that should be his last game for City. Ps Vaulks was again a complete passenger; he’s got to go
Talk around me was that Uche had been ill this week. Hughill had been too, but was added the bench at the last minute. Vaulks is as slow as Pack. Ralls seemed to me to be a bit off the pace due to his injury. Doyle is class but he needs someone on the same wavelength to play with. Get Ralls back up to speed alongside him and maybe a fit Wintle behind them, it could work well. Collins is a workhorse right enough, but unfortunately even they end up in the knackers yard.
