In my opinion they made the right decision, Kenny is an LFC legend but the table doesnt lie,and this with LFCs highest net spend ever

But what are peoples thoughts on FSG

my thoughts, Im impressed with this decision, it proves they want to win, infact it is almost saying we HAVE TO win, it doesnt matter who you are we HAVE To be successful.I am all for giving managers time, I didnt want Rafa to go ( he made continuous improvement, with a net transfer spend), as long as the new manager makes continuous improvement he should be ok, Kenny didnt.Eighth isnt good enough for LFC, in fact neither is 4th, we have got to have a more winning mentality, where we wont allow defeat at any cost. I think FSG have this mentality

But FSG must back the manager, with HARD CASH, the more the better

    AND

they must get there finger out regards the stadium ( and quickly ), this isnt being sorted quick enough and is effecting our revenues in the long term

Firstly its kind of hard to say Kenny didn't make continuous improvement after only one full season surely. Had you taken his first full 12 months at the club he had taken us from just above the relegation places to just outside the top four. The pressure now put on the next man into the job is immense...no champions league qualification and you're out. Kennys net spend might have been high but who spent the cash him or Comolli who a few weeks ago was getting the blame for that. And do you really think that whoevers next for the electric chair/managers seat will be given a shed load of cash to spend? Really?

Their decision can only be judged on the next managerial appointment; get it wrong and they will come under fire, they are under huge pressure I think.

I think the players have a lot to answer for, downing, Henderson, Enrique. I think Adam did ok till Lucas was injured. Enrique got worse as the season went on, take out Suarez and we are v ordinary. Priority sort out a new stadium and invest in the squad. Kenny looked so aged on the touch line!
