I vaguely recall, possibly buried in another thread, that Matty was being linked with Barnsley. Did I imagine that? Anyone got any news on whats happening to Super Matty?
It was a bullshit rumour which I disproved. Though now we seem to have two new strikers I can see him going back out on loan.

If Fryatt leaves I reckon it will be at the end of the window. With A9Mac gone and Prozzy looking likely to follow, Fryatt and Sagbo are the only strikers we'd have left available for the FA cup. I'm sure we'll keep him to play in that game, and just assuming we win, will keep hold of him if the next tie seems winnable and we've a half decent chance at some FA cup magic this season.
Fryatt's already played for two clubs now, so he can only go out on emergency loan to another club, so unless we flog him to the Wendies, he might as well stay with us for now.

Well if Prozzy goes and Graham gets recalled, then we'll have four strikers which seems fair enough. Long can play the no10 role as well as an out and out striker.

Aluko would be like having a new signing. Out with the dead meat and in with some fresh flesh makes for a potentially comfortable second half of the season.
Steve Bruce say NO. That is good enough for me. Plus with Gedo and Mclean now gone and Jelavic and Long cup-tied we need Fryatt for our FA Cup games alone.
