    Hello Fulham Fans.

I have had many questions from yourselves recently directed to me through social media and I believe it is my responsibility as Chief Football Bloke to provide some clarity to matters "behind the scene's" as it were at your football club. I would like to do this through the programme but unfortunately I have been barred from doing so because I suggested a few alterations (full page portrait of me as a centrefold, me dressed a Billy Badger, me eating a Cottage Pie staring wistfully over the Thames at sunset, that sort of thing) so this seems the perfect forum (if you'll pardon the pun).

The first subject I would like to tackle because it provoked a little misunderstanding recently is my role and that of the head coach and clearly I do see that there is a real dilemma here in that, while it has been management policy to regard policy as a responsibility of Managers and football administration as a responsibility of coaches the questions of administrative policy can cause confusion between the policy of administration and the administration of policy, especially when responsibility for the administration of the policy of administration conflicts, or overlaps with, responsibility for the policy of the administration of policy.

You see, it is all very clear and I trust this brings this particular debate to a close.

Anyway, much as I have enjoyed this little chat I need to be cracking on with certain other tasks such as trying to bring in a particular Spanish Player on loan, although I have to admit this is causing a certain amount of indecision in me. Speaking with my Director's hat on, I don't think it would be a very good idea; on the other hand, with my Chief Football Bloke hat on, I think perhaps it would be a good idea. But there again, with my Coaches hat on, I can see there could be arguments on both sides. The trouble is no one knows what hat I am talking through at any particular moment.

Anyway, hopefully I will be in touch again soon.

    Best regards

    Chief Football Bloke

Well dear Season Ticket Holder, if you ask me for a straight answer, then I shall say that, as far as I can see, looking at it by and large, taking one thing with another in terms of the squad, then in the final analysis it is probably true to say, that at the end of the day, in general terms, you would probably find that, not to put too fine a point on it, he may or may not have been playing for a team on the Spanish mainland, or one of its sovereign islands. As far as it stands, at this stage.

Hey Chief - Ta for that and really impressed by your take on the game. Myself, thought Sevilla were pretty average and the score flattered them.

Hey Chief - here's another one for you. Is it true you're in trouble with Jokanovic for meddling and he wasn't your first choice anyway?

    Dear forum member,

I am very pleased that you asked me that, and let me put the record straight by stating quite clearly that the traditional allocation of executive responsibilities has always been so determined as to liberate the current head coaching incumbent from the administrative minutiae by devolving the managerial functions to those whose experience and qualifications have better formed them for the performance of such humble offices, thereby releasing their coaching overlords for the more onerous duties and profound deliberations which are the inevitable concomitant of their exalted position.

As for the accusation that he wasn't my first choice, how this can even be considered as fact when we only interviewed or spoke in some way to a mere 4 other candidates before him is something of a mystery to me. I believe this may have been stirred up by the press and if it continues I shall deliver my six point plan for managing stories like this in the future that I have been working on for several weeks now. Obviously it's in crayon at the moment but I will have one of the secretaries type it up should the need arise.

    Yours

    Chief Football Bloke
