According to his twitter feed, he'll be leaving this week to go out on loan.

Good, he won't get game time with us at the moment and hopefully he will improve his game more getting some regular football out on loan. I'm not convinced whether he will make it or not yet to be honest.

I think that's a good move. He's a decent player and something that Arsenal need in MF, somebody with some bite who loves to break up play and win the ball back.

He was doing well at Wolves before his ligament injury and I think he needs more game time before he can be considered for a starting berth at Arsenal, but I reckon that if he keeps improving then he can have a long Arsenal career ahead of him.

Good luck Frimpong - do we know where he's going ?

Not negative at all - i think the loan move is a good idea and think it'll be good for the player.

I simply added that i'm not yet sure whether he will make it at Arsenal - it's the same with all young players, there are always a handful that stand out and of them a few go on to do big things. Frimpong stands out but whether he is able to take that next step up is yet to be seen as he hasn't had a season where he is pushing to break into the team yet, he also has stiff competition for the spot from Coq who has said he wants more game time.

As long as it's a prem team i don't mind where he goes to be honest, anywhere where he is actually needed and will get game time.

I'm not sold on Coq as a midfielder. I think his best position might be at RB, where he is behind Sagna and Jenkinson.

I think Frimpong offers more in MF simply by being a true out and out DM, but he does need to prove himself before he can be considered for the first XI

Yeah im not fully convinced on Coq or Frimpong, not sure which will make it or if either will end up making it!

I'm more interested in seeing Eisfield, Gnabry and Miyaichi , but that probably shows my favour towards attack minded players!

It is difficult for youngsters who want to play in the middle when you look at just how many options we have who can play there.

It's definately worth seeing Coq and Frimpong more though and a loan deal si perfect if it's to the prem and we can see more of what he is capable of.

The thing about Frimpong though is that he's probably the only true DM that we've got, so if he can make it then he's got a long career ahead of him at Arsenal. I think he offers us just what we need, somebody who loves to tackle and win the ball back.

The other players you mention are all good prospects, especially Eisfeld and Gnabry, but they are more attack minded.

I really hope Fimpong makes it, because not only is he what we need, but he is Arsenal to the core <ok>

Frimpong has been seriously unlucky. Two cruciate knee ligament injuries and he is only 20 years old. Hope he can get back on track but after two injuries like that, it's going to be a hard road back.

It's not unusual for both ligaments to go if one does. But the reconstructive surgery is pretty robust and once he's back up to match fitness, then I think he can concentrate on improving his game. I really hope he makes it at Arsenal.

Really want him to succeed as he's such a fan :) Hoping he does well & fights his way in to be the successor to Arteta at DM.
