What a fright you gave us yesterday! and what a truly crazy game. Just after we scored out second goal I was starting to wonder just how many more we could score to help our flagging goal difference, then came your goal.

It is often said that a late goal in the first half can change a game but I cannot recall seeing such a dramatic change as what I witnessed yesterday!

For as poor as you were in the first 45 minutes, you were incredible in the 2nd half, which had me asking questions I am guessing you guys have probably been asking.

I am guessing the commitment, passion etc shown in the 2nd half has been missing in most games in the last 2 months, but the question has to be - if the team can play like that why have they not been doing so in recent weeks? I read all about how dire you were against QPR in the week but that lasted for 90 minutes. What was different about yesterday to produce that reaction?

You guys were really unlucky to not leave without at least 1 point, i am happy to concede that, you simply stopped us passing the ball the same as we did in the 1st half and it was a huge struggle.

Finally I would like to say, I really hope Sunderland show more performances like that in the weeks to come so you can drag yourselves back towards mid-table. It is clear the players can do it and if they can for more than 45 minutes, I have no doubt you will be fine come the end of the season

 

Chers mate..It has been pretty poor of late, but hopefully that 2nd half performance will give everybody the belief that we have at last turned a corner..

 

Fair points mate, taking nowt away from yourselves but we were truly dire for the first 44 minutes. This has been the case for the last few games barring Fulham. We need the opposition to score 1 maybe 2 goals before we realise that the game has started. Wasn't expecting a crushing win for us yesterday don't think we've won at your place for years however, I thought a point should have been in our sights. Good luck for the season mate and if it goes the same as last we should hammer you 3-0 at our place, swings and roundabouts and all that

The second half was the best we have played this season. The first half was the poorest we have played (although the 1st half performance was near to the rest of the dross that has been served up all season)

 

and that was probably the best performance of an away team this season at Carrow Road!

When Liverpool beat us 5-2 they were not that good, just Suarez was on fire on the day

 

As poor as I've seen us in 3 years in the first half (and by have we been bad). (Baring the goals) About the best I've seen us for 3 years in the second. Strange indeed.

 

What did you put in the tea at half time ? And can we buy some of it from you ?

 

I hope Mon sits them down and watches the second half over and over. That how we need to play, hustling hurrying and preparing every time a Norwich player got the ball, all that was missing was a goal (sessegnon and kilgallon both should have scored)
