Robins to visit south coast for second year running. Read more at http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/20130514-bournemouthfriendly-820179.aspx#wsL06K4VIvBxzLzT.99 HOW BLOODY EMBARRASSING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd put money on Pitman scoring against us. Who knows. Perhaps Pitman will miss us, and Bournemouth will want to get rid on the cheap...
It's a pre season friendly so who cares who we play as long as the players, whoever they are, get fit enough to get off to a flier in L1 then we could play BSP teams in all matches as far as I'm concerned.
I think the Man Utd pre season was worked out last year we might get something for the next year if we ask now.
I agree, as long as they get match fit then who cares. But moaning about playing a team in a division higher than us Plus if we were to play Man U it would be like us putting out the b team against WSM.
Obviously can't afford a trip to the Algarve this year so why not spend some time on the beach in Bournemouth? You can't beat an away game against higher opposition (ouch!) to blood the young guns (ouch again!) especially when they have one of your old boys (ouch ouch!).
How long is it before we need to get up for the big games away against Newport, FGR and the likes of the other big boys such as Barnet and Fleetwood? Sad state of affairs all round but at least we might have a chance of having one of the better attendances in the 3RD Division (oops) sorry League One (who are they kidding?).
Well you have to look on the bright side at least we don't have to face the might of the lower English leagues 'Barcelona' do we?
Barnet are now in the Conference but they are moving to a new ground in Harrow. Maybe they'll rename themselves Barnet-Harrow FC, which in time will be shortened to Barrow FC!
Just down the road from me so i'll pop along again as last season. We beat them something like 3-0, on the day City looked good and Bournemouth looked ****e so funny how things go!
