From impartially reviewing the evidence above, I have come to the conclusion that we will ****ing waltz this league The new top does look better than the last few editions. All eyes on Jimmy B as he NEEDS to pull his finger out & I'm hoping JET carries on improving. I think if we persist with playing Martin in the free role / support striker position we'll get found out.
thanks for the highlights, really enjoyed watching that. Could we put in a bid for their goalscorer!? He looked alright ! Bullard really does need to have a big season, same with Chopra. These two properly fit / interested for an entire season would make one hell of a difference. I think both will do better than last time around, unsure just how well Jimmy will do. We'll see! Regarding Martin off the front man and getting found out - you may have a point. HOWEVER, even if teams work it out, if Martin continues to build on last season then it's another thing stopping it. Certainly at worst it's the ideal formation, Martin off Chopra with JET and possibly Carson if he sorts himself out in the wide roles. JET / Martin could interchange during games too if needed. Would you rather a traditional 4-4-2? I'm not sure we're strong enough at CM to play it.
Westy Totally agree with regards to Bullard, i actually think he will have a big season this season and the same goes for chops. I have to say, the one person i am expecting big things from is hewitt once properly fit, to be compared to Bale is a ****ing big deal!!
don't think it matters whether it's Martin, JET, Drury, Scotland, Chops. We are rid of Leadbitter and Norris now and that's the main thing. Let Hyam do his thing protecting the defence and opening up play for us and whoever is in the forward positions will flourish as a result.
Norris, Kanu and all the other senior pros were left out of their tour and the club is trying to offload them all. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. ^-^
Anybody know why Martin wasn't included in the squad? After viewing this I still think we are in need of another commanding/solid CM (not sure what this Kourouma is like). Would also be great if we could get Davis.
