Last week or the week before I made a little thread about choosing a Prem XI with a few twists. This week it's all about the World XI, probably a lot easier to pick this time than the Prem one as there's a wider variety. Here's the rules: Every player has to be of different nationality. Only one player from a certain club. Has to be correct positions. You cannot select either Messi or Ronaldo as it's fair to say everyone would have them otherwise. Formation can be either 4-4-2, 4-5-1, 4-3-3 or 5-4-1. I've gone for 4-5-1: GK: Stekelenburg - NED - Roma RB: Lahm - GER - Bayern CB: Thiago Silva - BRA - PSG CB: Vidic - SER - Man Utd LB: Cole - ENG - Chelsea RW: Di Maria - ARG - Real Madrid CM: Iniesta - SPA - Barcelona DM: Yaya Toure - IVC - Man City CM: Pirlo - ITA - Juventus LW: Bale - WAL - Spurs ST: Cavani - URG - Napoli
Friedel Zabaleta Bruno Alvez Chiellini Lahm Blaszchjzkowski(the guy at Dortmund) Fellaini Modric Iniesta Falcao RVP Got a bit stuck for keepers, swapped Buffon out for Chiellini when I got stuck for centrebacks.
there's absolutely no way you spelt that without looking it up! struggling with mine. it's hard only having 1 player from a country...
I actually knew who you were on about before having to read the brackets. Good player. His goal at the Euro's vs Russia was quality.
I didn't look it up but there's absolutely no way I've spelt it right either, I added the bit in brackets so people didn't think I'd fallen asleep on my keyboard.
