Guess I am a sucker for punishment as Newton Abbot has never been any good for me to find winners. Still, I do think this pick will run a decent race. (15:50) Newton Abbot -- Coolnaugh Haze. A consistent gelding who has a squeak in this Class-3 Handicap Hurdle over an extended 2m on goop/good-to-firm ground. M.G. Nolan on board for the Philip Hobbs stable. 4/1 best price in nearly all places at time of writing. Think I'll put the selection in a Rev.Forecast with For Pleasure.
Surprised he could only come in 4th, and not make it a podium finish, at least. The gelding should have done better in this field. Brian Barr's stable in top form at the moment, for sure.
