DAL HORRISGLE 9/1 ASCOT 3:40 Useful animal but took a backward step last time. Switch of stable could make all the difference.
I like Calliope at Hexham (1.15) tomorrow. Off to Germany for a couple of days now, so can't back on the phone from there. May have saved myself a few bob by Monday!
iirc , haggas always kept him and his brother away from soft ground , surely be heavy there this afternoon
Fontwell 2.10 Azzerti Has won last season on first start after a break and is 2lb below last winning mark. Stable amongst the winners recently. No ground worrys so should have a nice each way chance. Newcastle 4.50 Nordic Fire Put this horse up here more than one time and looked a real threat last week at this track until tiring at the end. Worth another go
I done Brian Hughes mounts in doubles @ hexham And Gary Moores horses in doubles @ Fontwell Personal be glad when flat has finished .
I will take a chance on Russian Royale in the 1.15 Hexham. 10lb below last winning mark and reunited with Becky Smith today who won on the horse on last visit to Hexham. Micky Hammond amongst the winners recently on the flat and had a NH runner placed 2nd (33/1) at Sedgefield this week. Last time out Russian Royale returned from a break when 6th and was ridden by an inexpierenced conditional that day. So a better performance today can be expected at a huge price.
Small stakes Ew Lucky 63/Acca for some interest today on my day off: 2:55 Hexham - Glinger Flame 13/2 4:20 Gowran Park - Humm baby 13/2 (4 Places) 5:10 Dundalk - Steel Bull 15/4 (4 Places) 5:40 Dundalk - Soineanta 9/1 7:15 Dundalk - Kinch 8/1 7:45 Dundalk - Rotkura 13/2
Really did fancy Fresh in the last at Ascot, but chickened-out due my atrocious form lately. In the end glad I did, but Fresh finished like a flipping train and only went down by nose to a 16/1 shot. Phew!
