One to watch out for: Midday's first foal (colt by Galileo) called MIDTERM makes his debut for Sir Michael Stoute in the 2.25 at Newbury.

    3.20 Cheltenham- Mijhaar- 8/1ew

Great price for this chap tomorrow! Has been contesting some decent handicaps last year and holding his own! On a decent mark and this is a drop down in class altho he has to prove the stamina for this trip!the extra distance may bring some improvement plus he stands every chance of handling it on the good ground too! Too big a price for me

Newbury 1.50. I like the look of Take the Helm. No idea what the odds are

I like the sound of one in the 4.10

I think it will be a day of favourites at Cheltenham, the class flat speed of Penglai Pavilion in the first and I also like Vintage Vinnie for the lovely Rebecca Curtis. Think we will see a Henderson winner or two and Nicholls to get a win too.

    Any views for the pertemps?

Race fit, ground and trip will suit.
Given connections though, he might finish 6th ;)

You know I always like to give you a leg up when you are going racing Nass, you rarely listen! I fancy FIVE STAR WILSHAM 16/1 in the 5:05. Have a good day!

Rock the World 5/2 might make every fence a winning one in the novice chase tomorrow. Very little separate the 4 in the betting but I'd take a chance this lad can bounce around and not be caught.

SINCE 2008 12 horses have performed at Cheltenham's Showcase meeting and gone on to win at that season's festival - who was the last one??

    Rejoice!! Cheltenham is back!!

Happy National Hunt Day boys and girls!!

With regards to the Pertemps Qualifier I go 4/7 that Sir Barney throws us the line "More plots than an Agatha Christie novel..." and I am offering even money that Boris and Beefy have at least 2 blow ups before Christmas!! <laugh>

In regards to today's action, I'm hoping BALLYKAN can continue his progression over fences in the 3:55 so I've had a nibble at 7/2.

Good luck all for today and the forthcoming season!!
