Just had a browse of the free transfer list published by the Premier League, some interesting names on there mostly way out of our price range but could be one or two youngsters that could be worth a punt. Noticed the name of one Harry Forrester being let go by Aston Villa, I think is name should be highlighted and stuck on the wall at our academy as a warning to those with ambition. Do you want to be an Ashley Young or a Harry Forrester?
A very good post. Poor Harry has suffered all sorts of off field problems since leaving us and I was amazed at the clubs queuing up to give him another chance. What frightens me most is I'm not sure that Watford are ready to sign any players, as we are now scared that MacKay will raid our "fire sale" for more players. There has got to be a load of dosh available for us to sign players ........... Surely? We must strengthen what was already asquad with too many holes in it - reference our performance from January to May.
Can somebody please put up the stats for watford transfers out/transfers in during the summer over past 10 seasons to put this "fire sale" as elixir seems to think we're in into some sort of perspective.
