I don't think Lampard's footballing head would not work properly in The Hoops after the very, very VERY hostile abuse he received from the R Block last season (wasn't at this season's game but suspect no different). Some players are just too much part of the fabric of their main teams (Gerrard too) and this would not work at all IMO.
Regardless of peoples 'personal view on him' (I too think he is a twat.) But the truth of the matter is, if we were offered him, and I dont think we will be, then id bite your hand off for one of the best midfielders in the prem over the last 10 years....
Paul Faulung wasnt that welcome until he started scoring for us, I still remember that late winner against Luton many years ago, place went wild.
