Nepotism. Nephew or not Harry shouldn't go there.

He's was off to LA Galaxy hopefully.

Doubt it, but would love to see him play for us in some kind of short term deal, I know he is not popular with many on here but is a great player and has always been one of my favourites.

Would not be a good or popular move

In fact I think both he and Harry would get constant barracking if this happened and rightly so

Are you kidding? Someone experiences, mature who can lead and score is needed, if Lampard kept us up and gave the likes of Cisse and Bosingwa a good kick up the arse, how could any fan not be happy. Some of the comments on here stagger me.

Why? We've had many ex-chelsea players over the years. Been a top, top player and just scored a fantastic goal....we could certainly do with some of that!

Any player who will improve our team and, more importantly, score goals should be welcomed with open arms. Just because they've played for Chelsea, however much we hate them, should not be held against individuals...

Still a great player, lots to offer.

Obviously we won't be as blessed (if he comes) as the Chelsea fans have been, 190 goals for the club, as a MIDFIELDER. Amazing, truely amazing feat.
If he is genuine about what it means for him to join us then I'll gladly take him.

Why? Lampard is exactly what we need - a goal scoring midfield doing what he did today. Some of our best players come from them (a better CB than Webbie is hard to recall) why not Lampard?

I don't have any problem with Lampard per se. If he comes, we need him to do a Nelsen, not a Bosingwa. Harry wouldn't bring him in unless he was sure Lampard's heart was in it and he was up for the fight.

I couldn't see Lampard coming here and not putting the full effort in for his uncle, really could be the signing to spark the revival, although it would still surprise me if he did join us...

I don't want him. He's Chelsea through and through. If he had anything to offer them they wouldn't let him go

He would only come for a last London pay day and frankly I'm staggered some of you haven't realised it would be bosingwa part 2

No more over aged faders. Let's start getting players on the up not coming down

On the basis of zone if the comments above your welcome terry too on the same basis hes s good player and has experience? No I didn't think so

    No too old
    No too chelsea

Could we not sign Eden Hazard instead? Dampard is too similar to Taarabt, not what we need. We need strikers and defenders.

I would have him any day of the week......the sort of player we need IMO and is sure to give 100%.

Even though i would feel a bit guilty after all the abuse i have given him over the years....

Hey I've got a great idea!

Let's sign joe cole, Anelka and fat frank to join bosingwa and we can pretend to be Chelsea circa 2006 just older, after more cash and without the passion

What has happened to you lot? I'd rather be relegated than sign that lot of *******

Given his press conference yesterday it would make HR look a complete hypocrite if we were to sign Lampard. He's old, costly, and unlikely to view QPR with an awful lot of respect. Exactly the kind of signing that is consigning us to the championship/potential liquidation.
I disagree that he's "exactly what we need" as well Oslo; i'd suggest a striker and CB are far more necessary. We're not exactly short on the midfield front, and it's been made clear that we're already spending way past our means. Do we really need another superfluous midfielder to ratchet up the wage bill?
Any player who we can categorically say wouldn't be coming to us were it not for the money, is someone we shouldn't purchase. The past 5 months have shown that. Have we learned nothing?
    (same applies to anelka/cole)

Well said grifter. The rest of you have either been on the sherry or have sold your soul to the Premier League hype. Stay up by morphing into Chelsea ?

Can we get drogba and cashley too??

    No thanks

We need the next michu not another bloated midfielder

Wubba, there'll be loads of Michus in the January window all a snip at £2 million. All we'll have available to us will be cast-offs or players who are nearing the end of their careers, on that basis Lampard would be worth a gamble if there was a chance of us staying up, if there isn't we won't be signing anyone. We're in the last chance saloon and we're playing Russian Roulette...
