These players need to be dropped gutted Elliott couldn't come in and change the team but he hasn't had a good game since hes come back and I cant see him being his former self. Foster well I never get so frustrated and angry watching a player, I though fontaine was bad but at least he does a few decent things a game. Foster on the other hand is utterly useless at defending and he doesn't offer nothing going forward. 1 Word HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF. Then theres fontaine. No more said on that one

So drop the above replace them with Edwards (who by the way is getting great reviews at Yeovil) Danny Wilson/Greg Cunningham and Bobby Reid

    Agree? ...................

I will disagree about foster seeing him work his arse off to try and win a ball from the opposition , makes himself available to albert when he runs into a deadend , tries to play the ball forward instead of kicking it round the defence going no where lumps it cause no one makes them selves available for the ball yes the goals came from the right handside of our defence but that's cause he was outnumbered

He's terrible Tiger. Hes better at attacking than defending, but that's ok because hes not a defender.................. oh wait <doh>

Del made it clear that in January there is going to be changes. Stating that he has tried a few combinations in the team and none are working.

So hopefully we will see some gone. But I do worry about his loyalty with Fontaine.

Glad you are noticing the Elliott situation Shiny I could see it last year, but then again I knew **** all, when I complained about him and was told by a few that he should be the first name on the sheet.

Tonight I am in a foul mood and glad I ain't going out.

Foster is in the Nicky Hunt school of Right Backs. Said he was crap on OTIB a few weeks back and some mindless idiots said he's been one of our best players this season. What a joke

Wouldn't say he is as bad as Nicky Hunt. Not consistent enough is his problem and when he comes under pressure ive never seen such a shambles of a player

Said the same on the article I wrote after the game and... I sit in the Williams stand and would go as far as saying Nicky Hunt played better than what Foster did in that last game. Positioning was awful, lacked pace which we know he has, couldnt tackle. I could go on.
McManus and Bates arent the best defenders and then you have foster and Fontaine who arent good enough for League one and thats why our back four are just not good enough. We need a whole new back four but it just wont happen.

As for changes, Unfortunately Fontaine will still be in the team come the end of the season. I just cant understand Dels need to pick him or as we have now seen playing him out of position just so he can play.

    Team I'd go with:

    -----------------Heaton------------------------
    Edwards - J.Wilson - D.Wilson - Cunningham
    Anderson ---- Reid ----- Bryan ----- Woolford
    ---------------Taylor-----Davies---------------

The current 11 just cant do the job and have had too many chances so would rather see the other squad players given a chance who I believe would show more and then come January we could then see what we need to bring in rather just buying players when we could already have someone at the club. Why the club has wasted so much money in the past

bryan and reid in the middle? we would get terrorised? I like the rest of the team though, but a line up with out albert isn't the same. He's a game changer and has 1 bad game out of 7-8 he is key to this team

Albert makes great runs but there is no end product at the moment and why clubs arent coming in for him. Would just like to see what Anderson has to offer. And Bryan played quite central in the second half against Derby before he came off. Showed he can tackle and move the ball forward. Two things both Elliott and Danns didnt do.
The big difference I believe if you look at the team now and when we won our only two home games is having a player like Woolford whos partnership with Cunningham made the difference. At the moment all the play goes to Albert and why Derby had 3 players on him the whole game. With Woolford he got forward, made goals and scored goals something we have lacked since he was dropped (and had shingles).

No not "mindless idiots". Many of us hold different opinions to you but that does not make us mindless idiots. And neither are you for viewing things differently to us!

He is not City's best player of the season but by he same token, neither is he anywhere near the worst.
Perhaps if we had a midfield that was comfortable on the ball and made themselves available when the back four are in possession, then we might be able to start playing some joined up football.

Would say foster is top 5 in worse player this season. fontaine is way out in front, least he can say he won something.

    1. Fontaine
    2. M. Wilson
    3. Foster
    4. Kilkenny
    5. Morris (prob be higher if he had played more games)

there are players like Pearson and Elliott to name a few that have not played as well as we know they can but have not played as bad the persons mentioned above and made the mistakes they have. To say the worse 3 are all defenders shows why we have let so many goals in this season, yet the manager is completely blind, to say after the Derby game that the back 4 were the best available is a slap in the face to any other defender at the club, or on trial from a Premier league club.
