Oh please, really? Yet aniother 90 + mins without a shot on goal and you’re looking for positives? Rebuilding my arse, we’re heading for hell in a handcart, the mismanagement of this football club is a disgrace, so much money wasted <grr>

As you say, several of us have been saying the same since day one, just a shame Webber wasn´t one of them <laugh>

Another game. No change. No improvement. No sign of change.

We are expected to just keep sitting through this!?

Unless Webber managed to incorporate a "no-payout" clause in the coaching team's contracts then they're here to stay for the time being, unless you want more money down the drain. I wasn't there but it sounds like there were improvements from what the commentators said. We're mid-table and my pants are dry!

I lost interest when I looked at the stats around the hour and saw how few of our attempts were 'shots on goal'.
I'm NOT looking forward to going on Saturday, but at least I'm sitting near an exit, so can easily leave early and IF it's another boring game, it could very likely be my last unless there is a dramatic change in players/tactics!! (<sorry> ILD and Dave!!!!)

From what we were told before his arrival, DF was a big fan of bringing youth through - I just hope he keeps Morris and Godfrey in the New Year and we see less and less of Vrancic.

Edit - From 'Paddy's Pointers' after yet another defeat - "Struggling on the road, struggling at Carrow Road. And who rides into town next? Alex Neil. Rest assured a man hell bent on proving a point or three. Neil was jettisoned to pave the way for a bold, new era, spearheaded by Stuart Webber and Farke. Neil has had his ups and downs at Preston this season but returns to Norfolk buoyed by a 2-1 midweek win at Bristol City.
    The mood is already irritable.
Paul Lambert tended to enjoy his reunions with Aston Villa, for the most part.

The sight of Neil, Frankie McAvoy and Dean Kiely beaming from ear to ear around 5pm this Saturday is not a pleasant scenario."
IF that happens, I WON'T be in CR to witness it!!! <yikes>

I will however be back there on Sunday for the Under 23 game. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It must be even more galling to lose to a goal scored by an ex-Binner! <laugh>

Yes, we only managed 2 shots on target, but is that the manager's fault? That was out of 14 shots we had (Forest only produced 11) - the chances were there but they weren't taken. Is that down to the manager or the players? Oliveira had at least 3 good chances and none was taken. If that had been Jerome, people would be shouting for his head.

We went 8 games unbeaten before this sticky run, so I'm also still willing to take a long term view.

Of course he's not a manager, he's a head coach. Which in short means yes, however your point about Oliveira / Jerome is well made. Both Oliveira & Jerome scored plenty of goals last season. They haven't suddenly lost the ability to score. In the same way that Bennett & Ruddy haven't suddenly gained new skills since joining Wolves. The way a team sets up to play, the tactics and what they are being coach / asked to do significantly effects performances, as does the way individuals are managed.

That's fair enough, Canario, but 14 shots in an away match suggests that the tactics weren't the main problem. Having only heard the match, the lack of speed in the build-up Hucks was describing still seemed to be a problem. How much of that is down to DF and how much to the players involved? Murphy has pace, but he's not as strong tracking back as either Watkins (who seemed to be working his socks off) or Wildschut. DF has complained about the lack of pace and movement in attack, so it doesn't seem to be his intention to play that way.

Martin Penney in My football writer has stated that a wages cap of £8000 a week is likely to come into effect in the near future. This got me wondering how many other teams in the Championship are likely to be in this situation. I remember once that a caller to Radio Norfolk’s canary call made a very lucid case for borrowing money to fund the purchase of better players. A manageable debt was not the evil scenario that we are led to believe. The likes of Pritchard, Naismith, Klose, Madison and Oliveria would soon depart on such low wages and this would inevitably lead you League 1 status. Can’t believe we are in this state yet again.

He also strongly advocates that Delia & co consider the possibility of some outside investment.
Without it, and to try and maintain this self-funding model is only going to go one way - and it ain't pretty <yikes>

There is a bit of a contradiction in there. A number of clubs in both lge 1 and the championship will be not just confined to £8K pw wages but significantly less. So whilst we could be at risk of relegation occasionally, our natural division would remain the championship, lge 1 would not be inevitable unless we pick a bad manager or two and are generally poorly run..........I see your point!

    Bah!

I'm too lazy to actually look it up but I reckon we scored more goals with Irvine as our short term stand in manager than we have mustered in almost 5 months with the German guy .
