I posted that before I saw his comment about date you were born. That was just a tune I liked from the year I was born. I'm April 79, **** knows what was number 1
Cavern, Grafton (some things never change eh) Cream, Voodoo, Le Bateau and obviously Sloanes/Crazy House for me
The Clubship Landfall in Collingwood dock? I worked there when i left school, cleaning up from when you left a mess the night before.stacking shelves and replacing the optic bottles etc. It was a 7am start and i had to get the first bus from the moss to the pierhead and then the 1 along the dock rd,i only stuck it a few weeks. it would have been quicker to get to ****in new york.
This was my birth tune then

Oh yeah my hazy eyes read the wrong line **** that's hilarious in its irony Am gonna call you BRIGHT EYES from now on If only you'd been born a few weeks earlier Wonder if Agger was born under Blondies Heart of Glass

If I'd been born a fortnight earlier i would have been born under Billy ****ing Connolly The artist formerly known as Billy Connolly El Pistolero just doesnt work for me
The best part was i was taking a bottle of shorts home a week(that was what they all did)and i was 15 and very impressionable, only cause the owner fella was asleep in his cabin on the boat all day. Plus they had a lunchtime restaurant for the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board wallers so the daytime crew got a steak, fish or gammon dinner every day. **** me,why did i leave Oh yeah i remember, the wages were crap.
