When I was in school we had a (married) couple of teachers that were travelling the world and paying their way by taking teaching jobs. They were Australian and when it came to be Australia Day, they decided to teach us a bit about Australia and not too much about physics just for the day. On cold days like these here in the frozen north, it sounded pretty good to us. We had a peddle party of Aussies in today... Basically, you peddle a float of about 15 friends from bar to bar, drinking all the way. I wished them all a happy Australia Day, and they were gracious enough not to mention the cricket! A very good (slightly hammered) group of guys.
