I know it's not a recent one but fancied popping it in again, so has anyone got any tips on a team or challenge for it?
i'm back on 09..i got into 11 a couple of months ago but i prefer the simplicity of the older ones. plus there doesnt seem to be as many regens about on the newer ones starting unemployed is always a challenge
I know I loved 09 have'nt got it any more Ched Evans is a beast on that game and Vela, decided to go with Notts County but defo prefer older Football Managers less complicated.
im notts co on 09..starting unemployed..turned them down twice..found out they were the oldest pro team in the world so thought they deserved to have me as their manager so accepted their 3rd offer. got promotion last season so am in league 1 now, 6th after 20 games

Lost months of my life to this when I was younger. There was one when Torres was 15/16 at Athletico and there were loads of ****-hot Swedish players that all had really small realease clauses. Quality.

It's cos of games like this that supporters now think they know everything about running a football club and how transfer dealings and other things work, if only it was that simple
