The Football League's next formal meeting isn't until September 8th,so that is possibly the earliest date that they can give approval to the take over of PAFC (Guardian.co.uk.....30th Aug) That is assuming that they are satisfied with the proceedings regarding the takeover anyrate ! This is after the transfer window closes, League approval of course would give peace of mind to any transfer target that Argyle are still in existance and paying wages for a change..........this begs the question that once again no wages have been paid for August.......and will any players do a Zubar and walk away.
It worrys me that there has not been a formal statement either by PAFC.co.uk or Guilfoyle through the media to confirm the sale is complete. Another delay? Fingers crossed they are excitedly signing the club ownership documents and are waiting for the best moment to announce it.
They could well be waiting for the outcome of 's day in court before making any announcement as to whether we have our golden share back for obvious reasons !
A load of balless wonders so I would be surprised if there was any flexing of muscles by the FL. I thought that Mr Admin had said he had received indication that there would not be a problem. May have made that up but was sure I'd read it somewhere. Why are we surprised at anything anymore. The completion will be when it suits them and not before. Not sure we would have been in for buying anyone anyway so it is either free agents or loanees for us for the forseeable future.
I hope they sought this site out soon.........told that there's.......database error...........server to busy.........can't post within 30secs,when I havn't.........and now three posts are showing...........I think we should go back to two bean tins and a bit of string, hope this arrives !!!
