Not sure if this has been mentioned, but for anybody not going to the game it could be interesting.

Premier League predictions: Lawro v MOTD pundit Alan Shearer.

BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest each week this season.

His opponent for this weekend's Premier League fixtures is MOTD pundit Alan Shearer.

The former Newcastle and England striker returns to Tyneside on Saturday's Football Focus, which this week will be broadcast live from the famous Wallsend Boys Club.

The show will feature former Wallsend stars who went on to become professional footballers, including Peter Beardsley, Steve Bruce and Michael Carrick. Shearer, who played for the club as a teenager, will be part of a panel taking questions from a live studio audience.

Football Focus is at 12:10 BST on Saturday on BBC One and the BBC Sport website (in the UK).

It'll make a change, I stopped watching FF a long time ago as I prefer Sky's output, not that Merson is the brightest spark, I would rather have been heading off for some beers and the match though <wah>

Never mind, you can have some beers with your feet up and enjoy the match in comfort.

Never been able to stand Merson myself.

Merson Pearls of Wisdom (Stating the Obvious Football Punditry Part 231743) "The teams for me that are going to struggle down the bottom are the ones that don't score goals", I've seen more intelligence in the old PG Tips adverts.

I watched it live, it was quite entertaining and they covered quite a few things from Wallsend Boy's Club to how England would perform in the World Cup. Shearer, Alam Thompson and Lawro took a number of questions from the selected audience and one young kid asked Big Al if he would wear a Sunderland shirt for £1million.

"Only if I could give the money to charity" was Big Al's considered reply

Typical Shearer, thinking of Charity, who out of today's mob would do that?

If you get a chance watch it. Pity we don't have more boys clubs like Wallsend. Good point made about forgein players. Yes we need them but the quality ones and not mediocre ones.
