Just read the "This is Devon" article which is supposed to be written by Carl Fletcher, where he does more than enough forelock touching to give you the impression that he will do what he is told when he gets re-installed as Argyles manager. I assume that a journalist wrote the article after talking to Fletcher........none of the usual sayings and comments that get you on the verge of screaming were included. Obviously saying all the right things at the right time as he negotiates a new contract.......or to coin a well known phrase.....he is definately....."working his socks off" to get a new deal.
Or alternatively he may actually think that Brent is the way forward and the right owner of course. It's not unknown even in football. It sounds more to me that the right deal is on the table and it will be announced he has signed it in the next couple of days. I hope so because the work in closed season needs to start now and not at the end of July.
But sensible it wont worry you,........you'll be hibernating down in your cellar.....waiting for the new season to start.
