Seriously now, I can actually see you starting October with as little as 6 or 7 points given the fixtures you have, if you do not make a number of additions to your squad, which lets not forget is largely of League 1 quality. We will add the numbers necessary before you harp on about the BlueArmy having just 9 players!<whistle>

Everybody has to play the same fixtures and with the amount of games in The Championship in such a short space of time at important points such as Christmas/New Year and April, your EXTREMELY small squad won't cope. We have strength in depth, with what you describe as mainly 'League One' quality players, when, in fact, most of them have played at the Championship level and above - the best including Kelvin Davis, Jose Fonte, Radhi Jaidi, Danny Butterfield, Dan Harding, Dean Hammond, Morgan Schneiderlin and Adam Lallana.

Oh look, that's 8 out of our 11 starting players, with £12 million rated Alex Chamberlain, 50-goals-in-two-seasons striker Rickie Lambert and 35-goals-in-one-and-a-half-years striker Lee Barnard making up the others.

Former Seria A player Guly do Prado and experienced but fairly young Richard Chaplow make up the strong bench amongst others.

I doubt you can say much the same about your paltry squad who will be fighting off relegation this season. Adding to the numbers will not be 'if necessary' , you're desperate for more players.
