For whatever reason our home fixtures have been nothing short of a joke this season. We have had barely any Saturday 3pm games. 3 the next 3 weeks we have home games on a tuesday night. Our last Saturday 3pm home game was against Cardiff on the 22nd December. Our next saturday 3pm home game is against Sheffield Wednesday on 9th March. Nearly 3 months without a home game on a saturday. I can understand the club want their games on sky as it brings in revenue but look what happened with the Middlesbrough game where hardly anyone could have made the game because of heavy snow. Had that not been on sky the game would have been called off Here is our home fixtures for the season Sat Peterborough Sat Blackpool 5.20 (SKY) Wed Burnley Sun Hull Sat Bristol City Tue Brighton Sat Crystal Palace Sat Nottingham Forest 1pm (SKY) Sat Ipswich Sat Derby 5.20 (SKY) Sat Barnsley Sat Cardiff Tue Huddersfield Fri Middlesbrough (SKY) Thur Wolves (SKY) Tue Charlton Tue Blackburn Tue Leeds Sat Sheffield Wednesday Fri Millwall Sat Birmingham Tue Bolton Sat Watford Just 11 Saturday games out of 23. Only 8 of them was 3pm kick offs. Surely that isnt fair as when people made the commitment to buy a season ticket they was expecting the majority of the games to be saturday 3pm. Some people cant make any mid week games
Im getting fed up with it now, due to work I can't get to every midweek game, getting sick of being an after thought by the club.., Im sure Thai tv won't be impressed with screening thousands of empty seats at a so called "big match"... football and the club are missing the point..
Yeah I work in London and I'm a season ticket holder with my son but I'm gonna miss all these midweek games, so I'm gonna have to think about renewing next season if this carries on
I don't know if you've been following the Huddersfield Town/Hull City, West Yorkshire Police saga but an interesting thread has just opened on the Hull City board in which Huddersfield are suggesting that they might be docked points if they don't agree to a changed kick off time for Sky. Madness!
