    It's on it's way back.

While the Euros are fun, excited to see who we get first game and when the Norwich games are.

Norwich at home 4th game of the season (Saturday 20th August)

It's impossible to really get an idea of how the fixture list looks until we're into the season. I'm just glad we don't have Leeds away on a Tuesday night.. (Can't remember the last time that has happened)

And the other away fixtures that I was looking out for are currently Saturdays (Burton, Rotherham, Wendy, Huddersfield) so it doesn't seem too bad to me

So Barnsley up first and I will look forward to the return match at Oakwell as it's a " proper " old ground instead of the new all concrete bowls we find at Derby, Reading, etc plus Barnsley the best Balti pies in the league. There's a rumour that Sheffield Wed are after McGoldrick anyone heard anything? I hope it's not true.

Wendy just signed Fletcher ( seems strange as they have Hooper - same sorta player ) and linked with McCormack so they appear to be flexing their muscles early and to be honest think they will come close.

    Barnsley H, good start ( I hope ! )

Norwich H been moved to the Sunday ( no surprise there )

Flexing their muscles, more like hooked on steroids
Fulham are asking 15mil for Ross after rejecting an offer of 11.5. There are some ridiculous fees being paid out at Championship level already!

It's ridiculous San Diego the way the game has gone worldwide - clubs in the Championship will be spending more than dutch clubs, most of Serie A, La Liga etc.

I just don't know what to expect especially for next season - we have the nucleus of a good squad. The academy does appear to be producing so we'll have to see how 5-6 of these lads perform next season, whether they can break into the squad and what that may mean for senior pros. The one player I feel could feel the pinch is Kevin Bru, decent player but doesn't create enough for me and I feel he could be on his way. We'll see.

I'm certainly happier than how we spend money than the likes of Blackburn, Fulham, Forest, QPR and at times it is a case of be careful what you wish for. Negative I know but so very true.

As far as I am concerned £££££ has completely wrecked the " beautiful game ".
